AWS Cloud Security Engineer

Job Description:-

• Implement cloud security best practices to safeguard AWS environments, ensuring data integrity, confidentiality, and availability.
• Conduct penetration testing and security assessments to identify and address vulnerabilities.
• Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and standards to protect cloud infrastructure.
• Analyze applications and services for vulnerabilities and implement proactive security measures.
• Monitor security threats using firewalls, proxies, SIEM, antivirus solutions, and IDPS.
• Automate security processes to enhance cloud security and streamline workflows.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide security guidance and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
• Perform regular audits and risk assessments to drive continuous improvements.
• Document security findings and effectively communicate risks to stakeholders.
• Manage container security with tools like Docker and Kubernetes.Enforce network security protocols such as TCP/IP, SSL/TLS, IPSEC, and HTTP/S.
• Develop and maintain scripts using Python, Bash, or similar languages for automation and infrastructure management.

Requirements & Qualifications:-

• Proven experience as an AWS Cloud Security Engineer or in a similar security role.
• Strong experience with automation tools and scripting languages to enhance security operations.
• In-depth knowledge of compliance frameworks, including ISO 27001, NIST, and GDPR.
• Expertise in identifying, analyzing, and mitigating network vulnerabilities.
• Hands-on experience in network penetration testing and security assessments.
• Solid understanding of firewalls, proxies, SIEM solutions, antivirus tools, and Intrusion Detection and Prevention Systems (IDPS).
• Excellent communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Certifications such as AWS Certified Security Specialty, CISSP, CEH, or equivalent.
• A Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
