Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled AWS Infrastructure Consultant to design, implement, and configure AWS cloud infrastructure solutions. The ideal candidate will have expertise in configuring and optimizing AWS services, including CloudWatch, AWS Control Tower, and various security services, to ensure scalable, secure, and efficient cloud operations.
Key Responsibilities: - AWS Infrastructure Design and Configuration :
- Design and implement scalable and cost-efficient AWS cloud infrastructure.
- Configure VPCs, subnets, IAM roles, and other core AWS services.
- Establish multi-account management using AWS Control Tower.
- Monitoring and Performance Management :
- Configure and optimize Amazon CloudWatch for logging, monitoring, and alerting.
- Set up CloudWatch dashboards, alarms, and custom metrics for system health and performance monitoring.
- Security and Compliance :
- Implement AWS security best practices, including encryption, access control, and threat detection.
- Configure services such as AWS Security Hub, AWS Config, and GuardDuty.
- Conduct audits of existing infrastructure and recommend improvements to meet compliance standards.
- Automation and CI/CD :
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
- Automate routine tasks for provisioning, scaling, and maintenance.
- Collaboration and Documentation :
- Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide technical recommendations.
- Document configurations, processes, and best practices to ensure seamless knowledge transfer.
- Education : Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Equivalent work experience is acceptable.
- Experience :
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with AWS services.
- Expertise in configuring AWS Control Tower, CloudWatch, and security services.
- Experience with multi-account AWS environments.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash) and IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Certifications : AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Security Specialty, or equivalent is a plus.
- Skills :
- Strong understanding of cloud security principles and AWS Well-Architected Framework.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with integrating third-party monitoring and security tools.
- Knowledge of container orchestration (ECS, EKS) and serverless architecture (Lambda).
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
