IT Support Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Collect stats on the product performance, and coordinate with the internal product & development team for issues, features, enhancements, and resolutions.
• Understand analysis of software application functionality, application monitoring, and suggesting improvements.
• Provide necessary technical support for the team.
• Manage monthly and ad-hoc product releases.
• Establishing the root causes of application errors and escalating severe concerns to the Senior Engineer and architects.
• Keeping a record of configuration changes and scheduling application updates.
• Documenting processes and monitoring application performance metrics.
• Should be providing front-end support to clients and colleagues in other departments.
• SLA Management
• Owns change management process.

Requirements:

• A bachelor's degree in software engineering, computer science, information technology, information systems, computer engineering, or similar with 3-6 years of experience.
• Familiarity with logs reading, Java & Linux.
• Strong knowledge of Postgres or RDBMS
• Ability to manage code migration, document configuration changes, and monitor performance.
• Exceptional ability to provide front-end support to internal departments and clients.
• Exceptional communication skills.
• Analytical & Problem-Solving skills
