Qualification- B.Des( Leather/ Footwear )

M.Des( Footwear )

Experience - 0-5 years.

Role & responsibilities

Carry out testing on Footwear as Indian Standards and ASTM standards

Perform testing of physical and chemical testing on various type of footwear , sandals and slippers.

Prepare the test reports and evaluate the test reports.

Analytical Equipment operations and maintain the calibration of the equipments.

Testing for sports footwear as per IS/ ISO 15844.

Testing on safety footwear and other related products.

Activities related to NABL certification (ISO / IEC-17025).

Activities related to ISO 9001.

Preferred candidate profile

Knowledge of Footwear Testing or Footwear quality check.

Minimum one year experience in metal testing.

Knowledge of ISO 17025/ NABL certification

Liaison with BIS/ OEM/ NABL/ QAI

Basic knowledge of footwear manufacturing and testing requirements on footwear.

B.Des/ M.Des from FDDI will be given preference.
