Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Scrum/Delivery Manager with 18+ years of expertise in managing the successful delivery of complex projects, with a special focus on handling and leading Scrum teams. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of overseeing agile processes, ensuring the timely and successful delivery of high-quality software products, and fostering a collaborative and results-driven team culture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Team Leadership: Lead and mentor Scrum teams in the successful delivery of high-impact projects across various industries.
• Agile Methodology: Champion and promote Agile/Scrum best practices, helping teams to adopt and continuously improve agile methodologies.
• Stakeholder Management: Serve as the main point of contact between business stakeholders, clients, and project teams, ensuring clear and effective communication.
• Project Delivery: Oversee project timelines, budgets, risks, and scope, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
• Resource Allocation: Manage resource planning and allocation, ensuring the right skills are available for each project phase and addressing any resource gaps.
• Process Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the team, focusing on enhancing productivity, quality, and efficiency.
• Metrics & Reporting: Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for team performance, project health, and client satisfaction.
• Risk Management: Proactively identify project risks and issues, developing mitigation plans and leading the team in executing corrective actions.
• Collaboration & Coordination: Foster a collaborative environment between cross-functional teams (development, QA, operations, etc.) to ensure smooth project execution.
• Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and ensure the delivery of customer-centric solutions.
• Mentoring & Training: Provide guidance and coaching to Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and other team members to ensure continuous personal and professional growth.

Required Qualifications:

• Experience: 18+ years of experience in project management, with a focus on agile delivery in a Scrum environment.
• Leadership: Proven experience in leading and managing cross-functional Scrum teams.
• Agile Expertise: Strong understanding of Scrum and Agile methodologies, with a track record of successfully delivering projects in an Agile framework.
• Technical Background: A technical background (e.g., software development or engineering) is preferred but not mandatory.
• Communication Skills: Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Problem Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on delivering results and overcoming challenges.
• Certification: Scrum Master or Agile-related certifications (e.g., Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Certified Scrum Professional (CSP)) are highly desirable.

Desirable Skills:

• Stakeholder Management: Ability to manage and influence multiple senior stakeholders and client relationships.
• Change Management: Experience in handling organizational change initiatives related to Agile transformations.
• Tools: Proficiency in Agile tools (Jira, Confluence, Trello, etc.) and project management tools (MS Project, MS Teams, etc.).
• Risk & Issue Management: Experience in identifying, tracking, and mitigating risks and issues.

Education:

• Degree: A Bachelor's or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
