Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Supply Chain Management : Coordinate and manage end-to-end supply chain processes, from procurement to final delivery, ensuring seamless operations.
- Inventory Control : Monitor inventory levels to avoid stockouts and overstock situations, ensuring that the right products are available when needed.
- Procurement : Assist in sourcing materials, negotiating contracts with suppliers, and ensuring the timely delivery of goods.
- Logistics Coordination : Oversee the transportation and distribution of goods, ensuring timely and cost-effective deliveries.
- Vendor Relations : Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, ensuring high-quality standards, competitive pricing, and reliable delivery schedules.
- Data Analysis and Reporting : Analyze supply chain data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement. Prepare regular reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as order fulfillment, lead times, and cost efficiency.
- Cost Optimization : Identify and implement strategies to reduce supply chain costs, improve efficiency, and increase profitability.
- Risk Management : Monitor supply chain risks and disruptions, developing contingency plans to mitigate any potential issues.
- Compliance : Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies related to transportation, safety, and environmental standards.
- Collaboration : Work closely with internal departments (such as sales, marketing, and finance) to ensure alignment of supply chain activities with business objectives.
- Customer Service : Provide excellent customer service by ensuring timely order fulfillment and handling any supply chain-related issues that arise.
- Education : A bachelor s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
- Experience : At least 2-5 years of experience in supply chain management, logistics, or a related area.
- Knowledge : Strong understanding of supply chain processes, inventory management, and logistics systems.
- Technical Skills : Proficient in using supply chain management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Analytical Skills : Strong ability to analyze data and derive actionable insights.
- Communication : Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and with external vendors.
- Problem-Solving : Ability to quickly identify problems and develop effective solutions.
- Attention to Detail : High level of attention to detail in managing inventory, processing orders, and monitoring logistics.
- Time Management : Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
