Architectural Draughtsman

Role & responsibilities

1. Prepare architectural drawings based on area calculations and sketches.

2. Assist architects in handling construction drawings for buildings.

3. Assist and support architects in various architectural projects.

4. Review and modify architectural drawings and plans as required by the architect.

5. Maintain and manage architectural drawings, documents, and related data in an organized manner.

6. Maintain a database of architectural drawings and plans.

7. Generate project area statements.

8. Issue GFC drawings and transmittals to the site and relevant departments.

Preferred candidate profile

1. Diploma in Architectural Assistantship or ITI in Draughtsmanship

2. Possess excellent communication, organizational and analytical skills

3. Knowledge of AutoCAD, MS excel, MS word and basic computer skills
