Role Lead - AI & Automation Engineering

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain the enterprise architecture for AI and IT automation, aligning it

with business strategy and AIOPS roadmap.

Define architectural patterns, standards, and best practices for IT automation & AI

development, deployment, and maintenance.

Lead the design and implementation of complex IT automation, AI & Gen AI solutions

that integrate various technologies, including RPA,ITPA ,scripting, and AI/ML models.

Lead a team of automation and AI engineers, providing technical guidance, mentorship,

and performance management.

Oversee the design, development, and implementation of complex automation solutions

for various IT/Biz processes,

Drive the adoption of AI/ML technologies within IT automation workflows, enabling

intelligent automation, predictive analytics, self-healing systems, AI Agents & Copilots

Establish and maintain standards, best practices, and frameworks for automation, AI &

Gen AI development, testing, and deployment.

Collaborate with IT operations, security, and other relevant teams to identify automation

& AI opportunities, prioritize projects, and ensure seamless integration with existing

systems.

Architect scalable and resilient infrastructure for deploying and managing AI/ML models

in production environments.

Conduct proof-of-concepts and pilot Automation & AI projects to evaluate new

technologies and validate architectural designs.

Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources effectively.

Evaluate and select appropriate AIOPS platforms, tools, and technologies based on

business requirements, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.

Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in IT automation, AI/ML, and related

technologies, and evaluate their potential application within the organization.

Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of

AIOPS initiatives and demonstrate business value.

Present AIOPS strategies, progress, and results to senior management & Clients.

Ensure compliance with relevant security and regulatory requirements.

Provide subject matter expertise on process and its implementation on the platform

Deliver continuous service improvements by proactively identify opportunities for

improvements to the implemented processes

Required Skills & Competencies

Min 12 years of experience in IT services with at least 12 years of experience in

IT Service Automation Consulting, Architect & Project execution

AI Engineering Design and Deploy cutting edge AI/GenAI & ML

solutions to address complex business challenges

Expertise on OEM Automation tools & AIOPS platforms

Experience with AI/ML services of cloud computing platforms like GCP, Azure,

AWS

Expert with AIOps platforms and solutions. (ServiceNow , Opentext , Moogsoft

AIOPS, Bigpanda)

Extensive experience in IT automation and AI development, with a proven track

record of leading successful automation projects.

Significant experience in a leadership or management role, demonstrating

strong team leadership and mentoring skills.

Experience with IT Automation and AI & machine learning engineering

practices

Deep understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks.

Strong understanding of IT/biz automation & AI principles, methodologies, and

best practices.

A strong understanding of ITIL process on one of more service lifecycle or

service capability modules

Should have working knowledge on IT domain technologies such as Compute,

Network, Database, Backup Storage, Cloud & Applications.

Ability to think strategically and translate business needs into technical

solutions

Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.

Knowledge in one or more System administrative activities like monitoring,

service requests, incident management, change management, & maintenance

Excellent communication skills with an ability to explain concepts and solutions

clearly and concisely

Experience in handling Client visits (Demo / Presentation)

Should have experience in Training / Grooming people

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Good interpersonal and collaborative management skills
