Job Description:

Astral Limited is seeking a First Class Boiler Operator to efficiently manage the operation and maintenance of CNG/PNG gas boilers. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in boiler operation, safety compliance, and routine maintenance to ensure smooth and efficient plant operations.

Key Responsibilities:

🔹 Boiler Operation & Monitoring:

• Operate CNG/PNG gas-fired boilers safely and efficiently.
• Monitor boiler pressure, temperature, and steam supply to ensure optimal performance.
• Adjust controls to regulate fuel and water levels in the boiler system.

🔹 Maintenance & Troubleshooting:

• Conduct regular preventive maintenance to minimize breakdowns.
• Identify and resolve boiler-related technical issues.
• Maintain boiler logs and records of operations, maintenance, and repairs.

🔹 Safety & Compliance:

• Ensure compliance with boiler safety standards & government regulations.
• Conduct routine inspections and follow standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Coordinate with the safety team for audits and regulatory approvals.

🔹 Utility & Efficiency Management:

• Monitor fuel consumption and optimize boiler efficiency.
• Ensure proper water treatment to prevent scale and corrosion issues.

Key Skills & Attributes:

✔ First Class Boiler Operator Certification (mandatory)
✔ Hands-on experience with CNG/PNG gas-fired boilers
✔ Strong troubleshooting and preventive maintenance skills
✔ Knowledge of boiler safety regulations & operational SOPs
✔ Ability to work independently and in a team

Qualifications:

🎓 ITI/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Boiler Operation
📌 2-3 years of experience in boiler operation & maintenance
📌 Experience in manufacturing, chemical, adhesive, or FMCG industries preferred
