Job Summary :

As a DevOps Lead, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing the CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and automation processes. Your expertise in Azure, GCP, Jenkins, Kubernetes, and scripting languages like Python and Bash will be critical in ensuring seamless integration, deployment, and operational efficiency.

You will lead a team of DevOps engineers, collaborate with development and operations teams, and drive the adoption of best practices in DevOps and infrastructure automation.

Key Responsibilities :

1. CI/CD Pipeline Management :

- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or other relevant tools.

- Ensure continuous integration and continuous deployment processes are optimized for speed, security, and reliability.

- Automate build, test, and deployment processes to support rapid development cycles.

2. Cloud Infrastructure Management :

- Lead the deployment and management of scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure on Azure and GCP.

- Utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, Ansible, or ARM templates to automate infrastructure provisioning.

- Manage cloud resources, monitor usage, and optimize costs while ensuring compliance with security and governance policies.

3. Containerization and Orchestration :

- Oversee the implementation and management of Kubernetes clusters for containerized applications.

- Develop and maintain Docker images, Kubernetes manifests, and Helm charts for microservices deployment.

- Ensure the high availability, scalability, and security of containerized workloads.

4. Automation and Scripting :

- Create and maintain automation scripts using Python, Bash, or other scripting languages to streamline operations and reduce manual efforts.

- Implement automated monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions to ensure system reliability and quick incident response.

- Collaborate with development teams to automate testing, code quality checks, and security scanning within the CI/CD pipelines.

5. Leadership and Collaboration :

- Lead and mentor a team of DevOps engineers, providing guidance on best practices, technical challenges, and career development.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, QA, and operations, to align DevOps processes with business goals.

- Advocate for DevOps culture and practices across the organization, driving continuous improvement and innovation.

6. Security and Compliance :

- Implement security best practices in CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and containerized environments.

- Ensure compliance with industry standards, such as SOC 2, GDPR, or HIPAA, in all DevOps activities.

- Conduct regular security assessments and audits and implement remediations as needed.
