Resident - Paediatrics & Neonatology

Patient Care : Provide comprehensive medical care to infants, children, and adolescents, addressing a wide range of pediatric health concerns. Clinical Rotations : Rotate through various clinical settings, including general pediatric wards, neonatal intensive care units (NICUs), outpatient clinics, and pediatric subspecialties. Neonatal Care : Participate in the care of newborns, especially those born prematurely or with medical conditions requiring neonatal intensive care. Well-Child Visits : Conduct routine well-child visits, vaccinations, and developmental assessments to monitor the growth and health of pediatric patients. Pediatric Procedures : Perform various pediatric procedures, such as lumbar punctures, intubations, and venipunctures, under supervision. Emergency Care : Respond to pediatric emergencies, including acute illnesses, injuries, and resuscitation efforts. Education and Conferences : Attend educational conferences, grand rounds, and participate in academic activities to stay updated on the latest medical research and advancements in pediatrics and neonatology.
