We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Neonatology Specialist to join our healthcare team. The Neonatology Specialist will provide specialized medical care to newborn infants, particularly those who are premature, critically ill, or have complex medical conditions. They will play a crucial role in diagnosing and treating neonatal conditions, monitoring the progress of infants in neonatal intensive care units (NICUs), and providing guidance to parents and healthcare professionals involved in neonatal care. Responsibilities : Provide comprehensive medical care to newborn infants in NICUs, including diagnosis, treatment, and management of neonatal conditions. Perform and interpret physical examinations, laboratory tests, and diagnostic procedures specific to neonatology. Prescribe and administer appropriate medications, treatments, and interventions for neonatal patients. Monitor and manage neonatal patients' vital signs, growth, nutrition, and overall well-being. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including neonatal nurses, respiratory therapists, and other specialists, to develop and implement individualized care plans for neonatal patients. Provide guidance and education to parents on neonatal care, breastfeeding, infant nutrition, and developmental milestones. Participate in rounds, case discussions, and meetings with healthcare professionals to review patient progress, discuss treatment plans, and provide consultations. Stay updated on current research, evidence-based practices, and advancements in neonatology to deliver the highest standard of care. Conduct research and contribute to medical literature by publishing findings and participating in academic activities. Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient encounters, treatment plans, and medical records.
