Assistant Manager - Logistics & Warehouse

Role & responsibilities

Looking Candidate from Battery Industry or Domain experience

Candidate will be responsible for managing :

• Inbound logistics To support timely delivery of stocks purchased for production
• CFA Management - Dispatch planning, dispatches, tracking till delivery to ensure ZERO escalations
• Transporter /Service Provider Management Placement of vehicles, follow up for deliveries to ensure
ZERO escalations
• Cost Optimization To seek approvals and to seek better rates from service providers on the basis of
volumes being sent and/or the basis of scope of business for any particular lane/destination
• SOP Implementation across locations for day to day operations
• Control Tower Operations – Tracking and Delivery
• Claim management – Timely submission of claims received after due verification and settlements (if
required), Credit note tracker updating and communication to seek feedback
• Recovery management – Timely pickup of stocks to be claimed as leakage / damage/dented wherever
possible to do recovery
• Insurance claim management – Timely submission of documents, pictures, details and to seek
settlements
• MIS Updating for Dispatch, Freight, Claims
• ERP System Management - GRN, Dispatches, Inventory Management, MIS
• Inter departmental coordination with billing team, dispatch team and finance team to support operations
• Service Provider bill checking and submission to finance support timely payments
• Zero escalations policy to be ensured
