Role & responsibilities -
1)Procurement strategy and planning-
a)Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with project timelines and budgets.
b)Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, contractors and vendors for construction materials, equipments and services.
2)Vendor Management-
a) Establish and maintain good relationship with vendors and suppliers.
b)Monitor vendor performance and ensure compliance with quality and delivery standards.
3) Material Management-
a)Identify material requirement for various projects in collaboration with project team.
b)Oversee inventory management to minimize waste and excess costs.
4) Compliance and documentation-
a)Ensure compliance with company policies, local regulations and quality standards in
procurement activities.
b)Maintain accurate record of purchases, contracts and vendor details for audit and reporting
purposes.
5) Cost control-
a) Analyze market trends to forecast material costs and identify cost saving opportunities.
b) Monitor procurement budgets and ensure adherence to financial limits.
Experience must be in high Rise Building Construction and real estate industry.
