Chartered Accountant - Internal Audit (4-6 yrs)

We are urgently hiring a Chartered Accountant with expertise in Internal Audit and Internal Controls to join our team.

The role involves managing audits, financial compliance, and ensuring robust accounting practices across diverse industries.

The ideal candidate will bring a mix of technical proficiency, leadership skills, and a deep understanding of accounting regulations and practices.

Key Responsibilities:

Internal Audit & Controls:

- Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls.

- Implement audit recommendations to enhance internal controls and mitigate financial risks.

- Manage internal audit processes within an organization or industry.

Financial Compliance:

- Ensure adherence to domestic accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

- Stay updated on changes in IND GAAP, Ind AS, and other regulations, implementing updates as required.

Financial Reporting:

- Oversee preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.

Team Leadership:

- Lead and mentor the accounting team, providing guidance and support for optimal performance.

- Foster a collaborative and efficient accounting environment.

Process Improvement:

- Develop and maintain robust accounting processes and controls.

- Drive process improvements, automation, and best practice adoption within the accounting function.

Audit Support:

- Facilitate internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.

- Ensure readiness and compliance for all audit processes.

Collaboration & Client Management:

- Work with cross-functional teams (finance, legal, operations) to support business initiatives and resolve accounting challenges.

- Manage client relationships for accounting-related inquiries and reporting requirements.

Qualifications & Skills:

- Educational Requirement: Chartered Accountant (CA).

- Proven experience in managing internal audits, internal controls, and financial compliance.

- Strong understanding of financial statements and domestic accounting standards.

- Proficiency in regulatory frameworks such as IND GAAP and Ind AS.

- Excellent leadership and team management skills.

- Analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

- Effective communication skills in English, Gujarati, and Hindi
