WNS Exclusive Drive-PEP & Sanction screening- Associate/Sr. associate

Role & responsibilities

• Reviewing Cases generated by the internal teams, investigating and closing them by PEP Screening/Negative News Screening/Sanctions Screening
• Understanding of Financial Crime Policies and Documentations, knowledge on basic banking terminologies, On-boarding/Compliance/AML/TM/KYC experience
• Good written & communication skills
• Fundamental understanding of MS Office tools/ G Suite
• The role will require majority of time spent working on a computer using a variety of applications for different scenarios
• Ensuring that the highest possible level of quality is delivered and every alert is investigated deeply, using available tools, sources, all necessary documentation and providing a correct rationale for the decision in order to record the steps taken during the review
• Good Analytical skills
• Proactively identify and participate in continuous improvement opportunities
• Be professional & courteous in maintaining high level of integrity and confidentiality at all times
• Flexible to operate in a 24/7 operation
• Flexibility to work in rotational shifts and weekend working

Preferred candidate profile

• Lead Analyst 4-7 years Expert Knowledge into PEP Screening/ Negative News Screening/AML/TM/ Financial Crime/CDD/EDD/Due Diligence/Investigations/KYC/IDV desirable (prior experience into People Management Experience, desirable)
• Sr. Associate - 2-4 years into PEP Screening/ Negative News Screening/AML/TM/Financial Crime/CDD/EDD/Due Diligence/Investigations/KYC/IDV desirable
• Associate - 01 to 02 years experience into PEP Screening/ Negative News Screening/AML/TM/Financial Crime/CDD/EDD/Due Diligence/Investigations/KYC/IDVB

Basic knowledge of Banking, Accounting and Finance terminologies
