Associate Director - Strategic Hub Lead (Business Support Services)

 

Work Location: Hyderabad

Shift Timing: 2:00PM – 11:00PM

Hybrid Model: 3 days work from office / week

 

About Role:

We have an exciting role to lead strategic partnerships and initiatives for building global shared services hub model in collaboration with Omnicom’s Practice Areas, Agencies and OGS.

Responsibilities

This is an exciting role that will be responsible to develop strategic partnerships with Omnicom’s agencies by aligning Business Support Services (BSS) capabilities with their goals. Key responsibilities include identifying opportunities for value enhancement for agencies through BSS services, driving process optimization, and delivering innovative solutions to maximize operational efficiency. The position also involves managing transitions to offshore models, setting up new capabilities/expanding the existing ones, and fostering collaboration through clear communication. Additionally, it emphasizes training, capability building, and leading teams to ensure effective people management, skill development, and alignment with organizational objectives, driving overall performance and scalability of BSS initiatives.

 

Strategic Partnership Development:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Omnicom’s practice areas and agencies
  • Understand the strategic goals and objectives of partner agencies to align BSS capabilities with their needs.
  • Leverage frameworks to enhance partnership effectiveness and scalability.

Agency Solutioning:

  • Conduct workshops with partner agencies to gain a deep understanding of their existing processes and workflows.
  • Identify pain points and areas for improvement through collaborative discussions and analysis.
  • Utilize methodologies to streamline and optimize processes.

Opportunity Identification:

  • Engage with new agencies to driving capability awareness and continuously engage with existing agency leaders to enhance opportunities of value enhancement
  • Analyze the current processes of partner agencies to identify opportunities for efficiency and effectiveness improvements.
  • Propose innovative solutions and strategies to enhance their operations through BSS capabilities.
  • Integrate BSS best practices to maximize value creation.

Process and Capability Setup:

  • Assist partner agencies in setting up new processes or capabilities within the BSS model.
  • Provide guidance and support to ensure smooth implementation and integration of BSS solutions.
  • Ensure alignment with BSS standards and protocols.

Transition Management:

  • Develop and execute transition plans for moving processes to the offshore model.
  • Ensure all aspects of the transition are managed effectively, including timelines, resources, and stakeholder communication.
  • Monitor the transition process to identify and address any issues promptly.
  • Apply BSS transition frameworks to ensure seamless integration.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Act as a liaison between the offshore team and partner agencies to ensure clear and effective communication.
  • Regularly update stakeholders on project progress, challenges, and successes.
  • Foster a collaborative environment within the BSS structure

Performance Monitoring

  • Monitor the performance of implemented processes and capabilities to ensure they meet the desired outcomes.
  • Gather feedback from partner agencies and make necessary adjustments to improve results.
  • Utilize BSS performance metrics and reporting tools to track success.

Team Management & Training

  • Lead, mentor, and motivate teams to achieve performance targets and foster a collaborative work environment
  • Manage employee performance
  • Design and deliver customized training programs for strengthening process delivery and upskill talent
  • Identify skill gaps and implement development initiatives to align with organizational goals

 

You will be working closely with:

  • Omnicom’s Practice Areas and agency leaders and stakeholders
  • Partnering with OGS’s enablement functions for smoother transition and evolution
Qualifications

This may be the right role for you if you have.

  • Bachelor’s / master’s degree in business management, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 12+ Proven strategic partnerships and transition management experience, preferably with media agencies.
  • Strong understanding of offshore models in Finance Shared Services and their implementation
