We are looking for an individual to spearhead this growth. Someone who is growth oriented, passionate about clean energy and has the ability to manage and run business as a profit centre would be an ideal candidate. ICF is a global leader in clean energy consulting, and we are increasing our focus on the Indian market. As the Leader for Renewables consulting in India you will have the support of international teams of ICF to create a robust business in India and the neighbouring countries.


As An AD, You Will Need To:


  • Be a trusted advisor for our clients by providing pragmatic advice based on defensible data and analysis
  • Oversee and contribute to multiple projects that involve technical research, client engagement, subcontractor management, and external stakeholder engagement, including:
    • Scoping and launching new projects
    • Supporting primary and secondary research
    • Supporting desktop and field investigations
    • Fostering coalition-building
    • Supporting regulatory and policy reviews
    • Develop and maintain budget forecasts across multiple projects
  • Coordinate research with efforts from state programs and independent entities
  • Ensure high-quality deliverables, including reports and presentations
  • Business Development & Growth: Contribute to business development primarily from corporate sector/PSUs and other similar entities in India and South Asia

Skills And Requirements


Education & Experience (required)*:


    • Bachelors degree in electrical, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering, or related technical field.
    • Minimum 15 years of experience in industrial energy efficiency, decarbonisation, and Net-Zero required. Additional experience in DSM and MSMEs is preferred.
    • Candidate must be a Certified Energy Auditor (CEA) from Bureau of Energy Efficiency. Preference will be given to Accredited Energy Auditor (AEA)
  • Consulting experience and mindset: comfort contributing to complex projects with a problem-solving orientation that prioritizes client needs
  • Ability to learn and apply new skills across interdisciplinary fields, including technology assessments, engineering, economics, statistics, and policy
  • Project management
    • Track record of managing project with corporate, government and development organisations.
    • Ability to collaborate well with people at all levels within an organization
    • Great initiative, creativity, and curiosity; work well both on your own and as part of a team
  • Other
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills
    • Confidence, enthusiasm, humility, and discretion
    • Highest ethical standards
    • Willingness for periodic travel
    • Desire and ability to work remotely

* These are preferred but not mandatory qualifications.
