Associate Consultant, Research

Position Description:

This position is responsible for providing support to the India Consumer, Retail and Consumer Internet Research. The incumbent is primarily responsible for data analytics and mining, maintaining database, and production of research for the Consumer team.

Key Responsibility:

• Retrieve and analyse information from databases for all themes and stocks under coverage, as well as external data sources e. g. Bloomberg, Factset, CMIE, CEIC, and others.
• Help track and analyse news relating to the sector
• Support sector research analysts for preparation of thematic reports and presentation materials
• Support sector research analysts in maintaining and tracking stocks.
• Help sector research analyst with info requests
• Following company result announcements, this person will be responsible for updating models/ records for specific companies that he might cover individually

Requirements:

• Bachelor degree or above with preference for CFA / CA / MBA
• Fluency in both written and verbal English
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
• High sense of commercial awareness
• Excellent interpersonal sensitivity. Excellent communication and management skills to both internal and external clients
• Experience in financial modelling and accounting will also be considered but not imperative to the job
