Job Description

Schwing Stetter India Pvt Ltd is looking for Senior Engineer / Assistant Manager - Quality to join our dynamic team and embark on a rewarding career journey
As a Senior Engineer in Quality, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing quality assurance and control processes to ensure that products or services meet or exceed established quality standards
You will also play a crucial role in identifying and implementing quality improvement initiatives and driving a culture of continuous improvement
Key Responsibilities : Quality Assurance : Develop, implement, and maintain quality standards, procedures, and documentation to ensure products or services meet or exceed customer and industry quality requirements
Process Improvement : Lead and participate in continuous improvement efforts to enhance quality processes, reduce defects, and improve overall operational efficiency
Quality Audits : Conduct internal quality audits and assessments to identify areas of improvement and ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations
Root Cause Analysis : Investigate and resolve quality issues by conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
Quality Control : Develop and implement quality control plans, perform inspections, and ensure compliance with quality control procedures throughout the production or service delivery process
Documentation : Maintain accurate and up-to-date quality-related documentation, including quality manuals, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and work instructions
Data Analysis : Analyze quality data and metrics to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement
Prepare and present quality reports to management
Supplier Quality Management : Collaborate with suppliers to ensure that raw materials or components meet quality specifications and standards
Regulatory Compliance : Stay informed about relevant quality regulations and industry standards, ensuring compliance with all applicable requirements
Training and Development : Train and mentor junior quality engineers and team members, helping them develop their skills and knowledge
Quality Metrics : Define and track key quality metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor the effectiveness of quality programs and initiatives
Qualifications : Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field
Several years of experience in quality engineering or a similar role, with a strong background in quality management systems and quality control methodologies
Strong knowledge of quality management standards and regulatory requirements
Experience with quality improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma, Lean, or similar
Proficiency in data analysis and statistical tools
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to conduct root cause analysis
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results
Preferred Qualifications : Certification in quality management, such as Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Six Sigma Black Belt
Experience in a specific industry or sector (eg, automotive, aerospace, healthcare)
Knowledge of quality management software and tools
Project management skills
