Job Profile:
- To achieve Debt Management Services targets of the Respective Branch assigned, ensuring meeting PI Targets
- Continuously monitoring Debt Management Services agencies and Inhouse collectors to identify fraudulent practices and ensure that no loss is incurred due to such activities
- Achieve collections target by visiting customers/agency
- Monitor performance against set parameters and provide regular updates
- Ensure legal guidelines are complied with while repossessing products
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions
- Provide regular reports on collection activities and performance
- Handle escalations promptly and effectively to resolve issues
- Daily DRR (Daily Risk Report) management Develop and implement strategies to improve collection rates
- The Collections Manager for Debt Management is responsible for overseeing and managing the debt collection activities within the organization
- This role involves developing and implementing strategies to effectively recover outstanding debts while maintaining positive customer relations
- The Collections Manager will lead a team of collection agents, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure departmental goals are met
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective debt collection strategies to maximize recovery while minimizing losses
- Supervise and lead a team of collection agents, including recruitment, training, performance management, and goal setting
- Monitor collection activities and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes
- Review and analyze delinquent accounts to determine appropriate collection actions and strategies
- Negotiate payment plans and settlements with debtors, adhering to company policies and regulatory guidelines
- Maintain accurate records of collection activities and prepare reports for management review
- Collaborate with other departments, such as legal and customer service, to resolve escalated customer issues and complaints
- Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices related to debt collection and ensure compliance within the department
- Provide regular performance feedback and coaching to team members to support their professional development and success
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment within the collections team
