Assistant Manager - Supply & Demand Planning - Internet/Online/FMCG (2-10 yrs)

Responsibilities:

- Develop and execute demand forecasts based on demand patterns and business trends.

- Analise sales trends, market dynamics, and customer insights to forecast demand accurately.

- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and supply chain teams to gather relevant data for demand planning.

- Monitor and adjust forecasts to ensure alignment with actual sales and market changes.

- Identify and mitigate risks related to demand variability and uncertainties.

- Prepare and present regular reports on demand forecasts and performance metrics.

- Support the supply planning team to ensure seamless coordination between demand and supply

- Act as interface between sales and supply chain by ensuring accurate sales forecasts for planning

- Inventory distribution across the warehouses so to avoid OOS scenario in collaboration with the planning Operations team.

Qualifications:

- Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).

- 2 to 5 years of experience in demand planning, supply chain management, and strategic planning.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in data analysis and forecasting tools.

- Proven track record of optimising supply chain and demand planning processes.

- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
