Competencies / Skill Set desired:
Responsibilities would include:
Review of Tender documents, including contractual documents
Drafting and vetting of routine contracts pertaining to construction, procurement, employment, service, suppliers agreements etc,
Non-disclosure / Confidentiality agreements, Intellectual property rights etc.,
Preparation responses to Legal Notices and handling pre- arbitration and Arbitration matters
Handling of civil / labour cases before various courts of law
co-ordination with the internal contract / projects teamd and external lawyers/ law firms.
Drafting and vetting of NDAs, MOU, JV Agreement, Bank guarantees, Indemnity Bonds, Undertakings and authority letters, vendor contracts, etc
Supporting business team for dealing with relevant Government offices and other competent authorities if necessary by way of providing contractual / legal points in meetings / communications.
Coordination and Briefing / discussion with the lawyers for legal cases and to negotiate the fees structure of the Advocates and processing of fee invoices
Coordinate and make arrangements required for Arbitration proceedings and provide the required documents to appointed Advocate for proceeding of Arbitration.
Keep updates on development in recent legal environment affecting the business vertical
Keeping the data and MIS for all legal cases and notice and preparation of monthly report to HQ.
