Responsibilities:
1 Identify and explore business opportunities with both new and existing customers and accurately assess a customers needs & requirements and new developments. Liaises with customers to clarify technical and product inquiries.
2 Develop and quote new RFQs, prepare Advance Program Review (APR) business case and lead long term revenue strategy.
3 Understand Advanced Engg BOM and compute cost elements working closely with Purchase, Adv Engineering, Manufacturing, Tooling and Packaging & Logistics.
4 Develop annual sales budget and provide contribution to senior leadership in the development and administration of sales strategy.
5 Manage and conduct special studies related to market trends, competitor pricing, win-loss business analysis, standard costing or other special projects as requested by global sales teams.
6 Strives to maintain high levels of quality, accuracy, and process consistency in the sales organizations planning efforts as needed, coordinates planning activities with other functions and stakeholders within the firm to ensure efficient and stable sales results.
7 Cultivate strong business relationships with customer Purchasing/Engineering.
8 Function as lead commercial representative on awarded projects. Manage all commercial elements of a platform/program including negotiating and monitoring target pricing where applicable.
9 Manage commercial impacts of all Engineering changes from award to end of program life; Support customer cost reduction activities by working with internal and customer cross functional teams.
10 Maintain accurate sales bump charts; Negotiate pricing changes with customer Purchasing and Engineering.
11 Maintain and track financial performance of programs from award to start of production. Monitor key program commercial deliverables.
12 Good verbal and written communication skills.
13 Experience with injection molding and / or soft trims manufacturing processes required.
14 Highly proficient computer skills including MS Office suite particularly advanced MS Excel, database systems, etc.
15 Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, customers, and management.
16 Ability to concentrate and pay close attention to detail
17 Ability to handle conflict resolution.
18 Ability to handle issues/problems that arise in the course of performing job duties and elevate appropriately.
19 Excellent interpersonal, analytical and communication skills.
Preferred candidate profile
BE/BTECH- Mechanical/Automobile or Equivalent experience in the Plastic Injection Product industry.
