A Key Account Manager (KAM) is responsible for : 1. Developing and managing relationships with key customers, with the goal of increasing revenue and customer loyalty. 2. Identifying new business opportunities. 3. Negotiating contracts and agreements with key customers. 4. Collaborating with internal teams, such as product development and marketing, to ensure customer needs are met. 5. Monitoring and analyzing customer feedback to identify areas of improvement. 6. Managing and resolving customer complaints and issues. 7. Staying up-to-date with industry trends, competition and market changes. 8. Achieving sales targets and reporting on sales activities and progress. The ideal candidate should have strong interpersonal and communication skills, a proven track record of successfully managing key accounts, and experience in sales and customer relationship management. A deep understanding of the industry and market they are serving is also desirable.
