JOB DESCRIPTION

• Anticipate and interpret Technology policy changes and implications for DSCI membership base and the country; develop and implement strategic advocacy plan to enable favourable outcomes from such policies and to pre-empt adverse policy and regulatory changes.
• Engage with global and regional Tech policy experts to develop and implement the India specific Tech policy and regulatory strategy including emerging technologies.
• Develop, drive and sustain the Governments outreach and advocacy engagement plan with strong submissions and representations and related industry advocacy coordination efforts to represent DSCIs position and thought leadership.
• Experience leading policy projects with a focus on developing strategies that support revenue generation through partnerships within the IT policy landscape.
• Run industry consultation and deliberation on policy matters. Distil industry views, assess impact on the industry prospects and likely impact, short-term and long-term
• Develop sustainable and creditable professional relationship with relevant Technology policy makers, regulators, government think-tanks, key government ministries and departments.
• Build and expand stakeholder mapping and engagement with ministries and states to reinforce adoption of best practices to support adoption of technology.
• Work closely with internal departments to support dissemination of DSCI thought leadership.
• Contribute to generating funds for public policy projects and programs.
