Role:

The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive experience across all areas of the human resources field and be able to manage HR functions on a global scale. They should be adept at onboarding new candidates from diverse regions, and providing continuous support to employees throughout their tenure. This individual will collaborate closely with global management teams to drive employee training programs and implement strategies that enhance employee engagement across different cultures and regions.


Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular meetings with global business units to maintain frequent touchpoints and ensure alignment across diverse geographical regions.
  • Consult with line management globally, offering HR guidance on various HR issues, adapting strategies to different cultural and regional needs.
  • Analyse global HR trends and metrics, collaborating with the global HR team to develop solutions, policies, and programs that are adaptable to multiple regions.
  • Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues across multiple countries, ensuring thorough, objective, and culturally-sensitive investigations.
  • Lead and coordinate global Employee Engagement activities, ensuring initiatives are culturally relevant and address the diverse needs of a global workforce.
  • Maintain an understanding of global legal requirements related to the management of employees, ensuring compliance across multiple regions and minimizing legal risks. Partner with the legal department/consultants as required.
  • Provide performance management guidance to line management globally, including coaching, counselling, career development, and disciplinary actions that are aligned with regional legal and cultural practices.
  • Collaborate with global management and employees to enhance work relationships, build morale, and improve productivity, retention, and engagement across all regions.
  • Offer HR policy guidance and interpretation, ensuring policies are effective and adaptable across different countries and regions.
  • Develop contract terms for new hires, promotions, and transfers, ensuring they align with the legal and cultural requirements of each region.
  • Assist international employees with expatriate assignments, including the administration of global relocation policies, and manage related HR matters.
  • Provide strategic guidance on global business unit restructures, workforce planning, and succession planning, ensuring alignment with global business needs and regional workforce trends.
  • Identify training needs for global business units, including executive coaching needs, and work with global leaders to implement targeted programs.
  • Participate in the evaluation and monitoring of global training programs, ensuring they meet objectives and are effective across different regions. Follow up to ensure training success and applicability to regional needs.
