Education - B. E. / B. Tech.

Experience - 3 to 6 Yrs. in Mfg. Industry

• Train the operator for specified machine operation.
• Ensure the availability of machine operators as per the production plan
• Ensure & train operators on shop floor etiquette and safe work practices.
• ensure the availability of BOM & consumables items at the respective cluster area
• Ensure 5S, Kaizen, Poka Yoke and safety in the respective area
• Ensure the daily check items are met as per the daily check sheet before start of every shift production
• Drive QCC projects for operation improvements
• Ensure the machine readiness and correct process for operations as per SOP
• Ensure the control of machines or adjusting machine settings within the allowed limits as per the instructions
• Collect the production data, analyse and present as per the plan
• Plan for Work-In-Progress (WIP) materials for succeeding stages
• Collect WIP materials from preceding stages
• Monitor the equipment to ensure proper function throughout the production process and machine monitoring and maintenance
• Set up and adjust machines, and monitor them for unusual noises or movements or abnormality
• Test or measure or verify or check product(s) quality to ensure that they meet specifications
• Maintain production / process / quality and equipment related statistics / metrics and production log book
• Align with co-workers, supervisors, engineers and managers to ensure that the results of their activities meet as per the expectations.
• Escalate to the responsible in charge as per the escalation management in case abnormalities in the line
• Handle multi-tasking / multi skilling to operate single or multi processes whenever required or asked
• Maintain OEE / SPC data collection as instructed by the SOPs
• Prepare and maintain MIS for production
