Technical Architect

Key Responsibilities:  

• Solution Design: Develop and document architectural solutions that meet business requirements and align with industry best practices. Create detailed design documents, diagrams, and specifications.  
• Client Engagement: Collaborate with clients to gather requirements, understand their business processes, and propose effective solutions. Provide technical leadership and guidance during client interactions.  
• Technical Leadership: Oversee the implementation of architectural solutions, ensuring that they meet quality standards and are delivered on time and within budget. Mentor and guide development teams and other stakeholders.  
• Architecture Review: Conduct architecture reviews and assessments to ensure that solutions are scalable, secure, and maintainable. Identify and address potential risks and issues.  
•  Integration: Design and oversee the integration of various systems and applications, ensuring seamless communication and data flow between components.  
• Technology Evaluation: Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends. Evaluate and recommend new tools, technologies, and practices that can enhance our solutions.  
• Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for architectural designs, including diagrams, specifications, and user guides.  

Qualifications:  

• Experience: Minimum of 10-12 years of experience in solution architecture, systems design, or a related role.  
• Experience in the educational domain, with a particular focus on nursing  
• Knowledge of various technology platforms and architectures (e.g., cloud computing, microservices, data management)  
• Experience with cloud platforms, specifically GCP  
• Experience in different learning management systems like Canvas, Blackboard and administrative applications like Banner (Desired)  
• Knowledge of Salesforce and its ecosystem (Highly Desired)  
• Knowledge of BPM and integration tools like AppWorks and MuleSoft (Desired)  Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools with a particular focus on Azure Devops  
• Excellent communication (both verbal and written) and interpersonal skills  Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams across multiple institutions
