Job Position: Head HR
Hiring Company: Global Software Product Development Company specializing in Digital Transformation, Data Management, Cloud Infrastructure, Cybersecurity and AI-powered IoT Solutions & Services.
Reporting directly to the hiring company's CHRO, India
Primary Duties and Key Responsibilities:
- Perform duties in Talent Management, Performance Management, Compensation, Benefits, Retention, Employee Engagement, Leadership development, Employee relations, Training and other HR related tasks at both a tactical and strategic level.
- To lead, manage, coach, and mentor the early career and leadership development program teams,
- Partner with Talent Acquisition on workforce planning and headcount management, proactive recruitment strategies and diverse sourcing pipelines, as well as workforce redeployment.
- Design and implement a global HR practices and talent management strategy that aligns with company's objectives and drives business success.
- Works closely with management in the implementation of corporate policies related to HR, organizational, and employee development at the business unit or division level.
- To engage with leaders in talent development and employee growth initiatives, leveraging the company's career architecture framework.
- Lead talent initiatives for the business unit; work with management to identify internal high potential talent and drive delivery of local development programs.
- Implement workforce planning, succession planning, and skills assessment. Engage in critical hires and manpower planning needs and assist recruiting team in focused efforts, as appropriate.
- Facilitate talent management activities such as succession management, high potential identification, training and leadership development needs.
- Manage and resolve complex employee relation issues; conduct investigations to minimize legal and third-party exposure while maximizing positive resolution.
- Conducts exit interviews, shares information and highlights opportunities for improvement.
- Partners with hiring company's leadership teams to ensure there is an active workforce planning practice in place to support the company's growth plans.
Desired Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :
- 15+ years of progressive HR experience into leading multi-site HR operations including 10+years in a strategic HR Business Partner capacity with Global Software IT Companies or Emerging Business Technologies or Product Development Companies will only be considered.
- Excellent communication, organizational, analytical and management skills.
- Data-driven with strong business acumen skills and the ability to align talent strategies with critical business needs.
- Demonstrable proven expertise in succession planning, talent management, performance management, leadership development and employee engagement.
- Strong decision-making ability based on company policy; able to work with minimal supervision. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
- Strong consulting, influencing and negotiation skills on all HR disciplines including Recruitment, Talent Management, Leadership development, Performance Management, Organization Design, Employee Relations, Compensation and Diversity.
- HR certification is a plus, PHR, SPHR, and/or GPHR.
