Job Title: IT Executive

Job Position Summary:

An IT Executive is responsible for managing the companys technology infrastructure, ensuring smooth IT operations, troubleshooting technical issues, providing support for software and hardware systems, and overseeing network security and system updates. The role is essential to support day-to-day operations, enhance productivity, and implement IT strategies aligned with the business goals of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

IT Support & Troubleshooting:

• Provide on-site and remote technical support to staff and end-users.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, including operating systems, network connectivity, and application problems.
• Set up and configure IT equipment such as computers, printers, and networking devices.

System Maintenance & Updates:

• Ensure that all company systems (hardware, software, network) are updated regularly.
• Install, configure, and maintain operating systems and business-critical software.
• Monitor system performance and perform routine checks to prevent downtime.

Network Management:

• Manage and support the organizations local area network (LAN) and wide area network (WAN).
• Configure routers, switches, and firewalls to ensure secure and stable communication.
• Monitor network traffic and troubleshoot connectivity issues.

Data Backup & Security:

• Implement and maintain data backup solutions to protect against data loss.
• Monitor IT systems for security vulnerabilities and resolve issues proactively.
• Manage antivirus software and ensure that all systems are secure from malware and unauthorized access.

Asset Management:

• Keep track of IT inventory, including hardware, software, and licenses.
• Ensure that all IT assets are appropriately used, maintained, and disposed of according to company policies.

User Training & Support:

• Provide training to staff on IT-related tools and best practices.
• Assist in educating employees on data security policies and usage of company software.

Documentation:

• Maintain accurate documentation of IT infrastructure, procedures, and configurations.
• Provide reports on system performance and any issues that arise.

Qualifications:

• Educational Background:
• A bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience:
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in IT support or network administration.
