Cardiac Anaesthetist

As a Consultant Cardiac Anaesthesiologist, you will play a pivotal role in planning, implementing, and monitoring patient care and clinical strategies. Your responsibilities will encompass ensuring the highest standards of medical practice, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and supporting the overall vision of the institute.

Key Responsibilities

• Clinical Excellence
  • Formulate, plan, and implement overall patient care and clinical strategies to achieve the AHI vision.
  • Ensure the availability of anaesthetists for all surgeries, including emergency and on-call duties.
  • Conduct daily rounds, evaluate medical care quality, and resolve service or quality issues.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure patient satisfaction and smooth workflow.
• Leadership and Coordination
  • Roster anaesthetists for upcoming surgeries to ensure uninterrupted care.
  • Supervise DNB anaesthesia students and collaborate with government-recognized boards.
  • Coordinate with panel anaesthetists in case of in-house staff unavailability.
• Operational Responsibilities
  • Maintain clinical quality standards, including documentation and compliance.
  • Provide regular performance reports and ensure efficient patient movement across units.
  • Be available to address hospital exigencies, even during off-hours.

Qualifications

• MD in Anaesthesia
• 1-3 years experience in cardiac anaesthesia OR 0-3 years experience after fellowship in cardiac anaesthesia
