Purchase Officer

REQUIREMENT

ABL is looking for suitable candidate for its Purchase department
to be based out of in Guyana (South America)

Position Purchase officer

Qualication:-B.E in Civil Engineering, (Supply Chain Management will more
prefer)

Experience 3 plus years of experience in procurement, preferably within the
construction/civil engineering industry

Job Description:-

• Material Procurement:
Source and purchase construction materials (cement, steel, aggregates) as
per project needs and specifications.

• Vendor Management:
Build strong supplier relationships, negotiate terms, and ensure cost-
effective procurement.

• Inventory Control:
Monitor stock levels, ensuring timely availability and minimal overstock.

• Budget Management:
Track expenses, identify cost-saving opportunities, and stay within project
budgets.

• Quality Assurance:
Ensure materials meet required standards and resolve quality issues.

• Compliance & Documentation:
Maintain purchase records and ensure adherence to policies and regulations.

• Project Coordination:

Collaborate with project teams to align material needs and prevent delays.

Compensation will be no constraint for candidate with relevant education and experience
