Learning And Development Specialist

Summary: Ashley Global Capability Center is looking for a seasoned and energetic Learning and Development (L&D) Specialist to create, implement, and oversee effective training programs that boost employee skills, reinforce our culture, and promote organizational growth. The ideal candidate will prioritize behavioral and communication training while also assisting with leadership development initiatives. This role also involves handling training logistics and administrative duties to ensure the smooth execution of learning activities.

About the Role: Program Development and Delivery

• Design and deliver behavioral training programs such as interpersonal skills, team collaboration, and emotional intelligence.
• Develop and facilitate communication skills training, including presentation, written, and verbal communication.
• Support the development of leadership programs, focusing on building future leaders.
• Assess learning needs through surveys, interviews, and performance evaluations.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, schedule, and coordinate training sessions, including virtual and in-person workshops.
• Manage all logistics related to training, such as room bookings, tech setup, and participant communications.
• Maintain accurate training records, including attendance, feedback, and certification tracking.
• Liaise with external training providers and vendors to source and coordinate specialized programs.
• Partner with managers and HR to align training initiatives with business objectives.
• Evaluate program effectiveness through feedback and performance metrics, providing actionable insights for improvement.
• Support employee engagement initiatives through learning activities that enhance workplace culture.

Qualifications:

• Graduation degree in Human Resources Management, Organizational Development, Psychology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in Learning and Development, with a proven track record of designing and delivering behavioral and communication training programs.
• Experience coordinating training activities, including vendor and stakeholder management.
• Excellent facilitation and presentation skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
• Strong organizational and project management skills to manage multiple programs simultaneously.
• Proficiency in using Learning Management Systems (LMS) and other e-learning tools is a plus.
• Analytical mindset to measure training effectiveness and suggest improvements.
• Knowledge of leadership development frameworks and practices is a nice-to-have.
