Commercial and Finance Manager

Role & responsibilities

• Responsible for complete banking operations, liasoning with banks, Review of collections, Funds flow planning, Foreign Payments, Local Payments, Petty Cash Payment. Obtain & review of bank statement, advices etc. Bank Reconciliation queries to be addressed with support from H.O
• Evaluating Credit Limit for customers, checking outstanding Balances of customer, Adherence to Sales policy. Review of customer receivable ageing and reporting to H.O. Debit Notes /Credit Notes etc.
• Ensuring all orders are captured and sales invoices prepared against the orders. Negotiation and Approval of transporters. Ensuring proper documentation of dispatch document and movement of goods from warehouse to customers. Liasoning with Warehouse & transporter.
• "Providing information to Consultants, Co-ordinating with auditors and consultants, Ensuring local compliance like Withholding tax, payroll tax, VAT , Expat tax etc. Meeting with tax officers during assessment & audits. Companies act compliances like filing of annual return, change in director etc. with support from H.O. Inter Company Reconciliations.
• Physical verification of Stocks on quarterly basis. Review of stock and sales statement on daily/weekly basis."
• Maintaining all records like Customer order, Sales invoice, dispatch slips, purchase and Expense invoices, inward Outward register, fixed asset register & tagging of Fixed Assets
• Maintaining personnel files, attendance records, maintenance of vehicles and other assets of ALS Office etc.
• All trademarks and registration liaisoning with consultant
• All related importation activities right from Form M generation up to arrival of Container at warehouse, liaising with our clearing agent/s
