Job Description for Key Account Manager - South


Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Key Account Manager for the South Region to join our dynamic Sales team. The ideal candidate should be from the Food Industry.


This position requires an individual with a deep understanding of client relationship management, exceptional communication skills, and a strategic mindset. The Key Account Manager will focus on growing and developing existing clients like Zepto, Nature's Basket, D mart, Namdhari's etc. as well as generating new business into standalone Modern Trade Accounts like Adishwar, Loyal Mart, Royal Mark etc.



Responsibilities

  • Identify, close and manage all Modern Trade Accounts
  • Manage key accounts across modern trade channels, including MT, to drive sales growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and implement strategic account plans to achieve sales targets and drive revenue growth.
  • Prepare and guarantee monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecasts aligned with organizations vision and goals.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of client needs and industry trends to deliver value-added solutions.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders within client organizations.
  • Identify opportunities for account growth and new business development within existing accounts.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment with client objectives and deliverables.
  • Manage contract negotiations and ensure compliance with service level agreements.
  • Monitor and report on account performance, utilizing metrics to drive performance improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Key Account Manager or in a similar client-facing role in the FMCG industry.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive sales and demonstrate account growth.
  • Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis and reporting.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also demonstrating independence and self-motivation.
