Senior Automation Test Engineer - Java/Selenium (5-7 yrs)

Responsibilities :

- Collaborate with the testing team and developers to identify automation opportunities and improve overall software quality.

- Design, develop, and maintain robust and reusable automation test scripts using Java and BDD frameworks like Cucumber and Selenium.

- Implement effective test automation strategies that provide a good return on investment (ROI) for velocity and quality.

- Write clean, modular, and well-documented code adhering to best practices and design patterns.

- Debug and troubleshoot complex issues in automation scripts and identify root causes.

- Execute automated tests against web applications and APIs.

- Maintain and enhance existing automated test suites.

- Contribute to continuous improvement of test automation processes.

Qualifications :

- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in software testing, with a strong focus on automation.

- In-depth experience with Java programming language and object-oriented programming concepts.

- Proficiency in BDD frameworks like Cucumber and Gherkin syntax.

- Extensive knowledge of Selenium WebDriver for web UI automation.

- Experience with API testing tools and frameworks is a plus (RESTful APIs, gRPC).

- Familiarity with source code management tools like Git.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills.

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects effectively.

- Experience working in an Agile development environment is a plus.

- Experience with cloud platforms like AWS is a plus (bonus points)
