Manager Finance

• The Manager of Finance is responsible for managing all financial aspects of the organization
• This includes financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and analysis
• The role involves ensuring the company's financial practices are in line with statutory regulations and standards
• The Manager of Finance collaborates with other departments to develop financial strategies and provides leadership and guidance to the finance team

Responsibilities:

• Financial Planning and Analysis:Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls
• Prepare and analyze financial reports, budgets, and financial statements
• Conduct in-depth financial analysis and provide insights to support strategic decisions
• Budgeting and Forecasting:Coordinate the budgeting process, working closely with department heads to establish annual budgets
• Monitor budget variances and provide explanations for significant discrepancies
• Prepare financial forecasts and models to support long-term planning
• Financial Reporting:Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting to internal and external stakeholders
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Communicate financial results and insights to senior management and other stakeholders
• Compliance and Risk Management:Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations
• Manage tax planning and compliance activities
• Identify and mitigate financial risks, implementing appropriate strategies and controls
• Cash Management:Manage cash flow by tracking transactions and regularly reviewing internal reports
• Optimize cash balances and investments to maximize returns
• Team Leadership:Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the finance team
• Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, encouraging professional growth and development

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
• Masters degree or CPA certification is a plus
• Several years of experience in financial management, accounting, or a related role
• Strong understanding of financial principles, regulations, and standards
• Excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in financial software and MS Office Suite, especially advanced Excel skills
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in work
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Leadership and team management experience
