TechSera - AS400 Developer - Integrated Language Environment (3-7 yrs)

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop, debug, and maintain RPGLE and CL programs on the IBM AS400/iSeries platform.

- Utilize the Integrated Language Environment (ILE) to create sub-procedures, subroutines, and service programs.

- Work with tools like SEU, PDM, DFU, and manage spool files effectively.

- Leverage iSeries Navigator and Integrated File System (IFS) for application management and development.

- Collaborate with clients to gather requirements and understand their needs.

- Create detailed design documents and present them to clients for approval.

- Analyze and resolve programming logic problems and revise procedures where necessary.

- Perform unit testing and provide final analysis on test results before releasing to Quality Assurance.

- Maintain and update program documentation regularly.

- Research and troubleshoot system environments to resolve existing program issues or identify solutions to new business requirements.

Required Skills and Experience :

- Hands-on experience in IBM AS400/iSeries platform, RPGLE programming, and Integrated Language Environment (ILE).

- Expertise in RPGLE programming and creating/debugging CL programs.

- Experience with creating sub-procedures, subroutines, and service programs.

- Strong working knowledge of SEU, PDM, DFU, and spool file management.

- Familiarity with iSeries Navigator and Integrated File System (IFS)
