Role & responsibilities

• Build internal data products aimed at streamlining workflows, minimizing manual interventions and driving operational efficiencies.
• Deploying and debugging cloud data initiatives as needed in accordance with best practices throughout the development lifecycle.

Preferred candidate profile

• 7+ years of experience in the field of big data and cloud computing.
• 5+ years of experience working on public cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• 5+ years of experience working on the data pipelines and using a variety of source data on data warehouse implementations supporting a product.
• 5+ years of experience working with Hadoop ecosystem including HDFS, Kafka, HIVE, Pig.
• 5+ years of experience in developing applications and scripts in Python/ Java/ Scala.
• 4+ years of data warehousing experience (Redshift, Azure Synapse Analytics, BigQuery or Snowflake).
• 5+ years of experience working with Databases and complex queries, design and develop SQL Server stored procedures, functions, views, and triggers to be used during the ETL processes.
• 2+ years of experience with Agile engineering practices.
• Candidates who possess advanced experience in cloud data engineering, including a deep understanding of the data engineering lifecycle.
• Bachelors or masters degree in computer science, or equivalent.
