Key Responsibilities:

• Mechanical Installation and Assembly:
• Install, assemble, and maintain mechanical systems, machinery, and equipment.
• Ensure mechanical systems are installed and functioning according to specifications and safety standards.
• Troubleshooting and Repair:
• Diagnose mechanical issues and perform corrective actions to ensure minimal downtime.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical equipment, including pumps, compressors, conveyors, and valves.
• Preventive Maintenance:
• Perform regular preventive maintenance on mechanical systems and equipment.
• Maintain records of maintenance activities and ensure compliance with maintenance schedules.
• Safety and Compliance:
• Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while performing mechanical work.
• Ensure compliance to industry standards and local mechanical codes.
• Documentation and Reporting:
• Maintain accurate records of mechanical work, including installation and repair activities.
• Report any issues, incidents, or deviations from the plan to the Mechanical Supervisor.
• Collaboration and Coordination:
• Work closely with other technicians, engineers, and departments to ensure seamless project execution.
• Assist in coordinating with contractors and vendors for mechanical work.

• Magnetic separator
• Underbed air injection system
• Shell-mounted fans
• Rotary kiln
• Dust settling chamber
• Post combustion chamber
• Off gas handling and cleaning system
• DRI smelting furnace
• Scrap profile monitor
• Grain size monitor
• DRI pax DR optimizer

Qualifications:

• Education: ITI in Fitter -Mechanical or equivalent certification.
• Experience: Minimum of 2-8 years of experience as a fitter in an DRI & Power industrial setting.

Skills:

• Candidate must possess good knowledge of Mechanical systems in DRI & Power plant.
• Proficient in using mechanical tools & testing equipment's.
• Excellent problem solving & troubleshooting skills.
• Hands on experience in fitting, assembling & maintenance.
• Ability to read & interpret mechanical drawings (blueprints) & manuals.
• Familiar with safety protocols in an industrial environment.

Candidates having experience in DRI & Power plant are mostly preferable
