Job Description: Compliance Manager (RBI Compliance)
Position Overview:
We are seeking a meticulous and knowledgeable Compliance Manager with a background in
Non-Banking Financial Companies (NBFCs).
Key Responsibilities:
1. Regulatory Compliance:
• Stay updated with regulatory changes and ensure the organization's compliance with
applicable laws, regulations, and guidelines.
• Interpret various acts and regulations relevant to the NBFC sector, including but not
limited to RBI guidelines.
2. Policy Drafting and Review:
• Draft, review, and update policies to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements and
organizational objectives.
• Work closely with relevant stakeholders to implement and communicate policy changes
effectively.
3. Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs):
• Develop and maintain comprehensive SOPs to guide internal processes and ensure
consistency in operations.
• Regularly review and update SOPs to reflect changes in regulations or business
practices.
4. Complaint Monitoring:
• Monitor complaints received through the Ombudsmen portal and coordinate the
resolution process.
• Analyse customer complaint trends and provide recommendations to improve
customer satisfaction and compliance processes.
5. Document Management:
• Establish and maintain robust document management systems to ensure accurate
record-keeping and easy retrieval of information.
• Ensure compliance with document retention policies and facilitate audits as required.
Qualifications and Skills:
• Bachelor's degree in Law, additional qualifications such as Company Secretary (CS)
certification preferred.
• 3+ years of Proven experience in compliance roles within NBFCs or similar financial
institutions, with a strong understanding of regulatory requirements.
