Job Description

We are looking for a ColdFusion Web Developer with extensive experience in designing, building, and supporting ColdFusion applications using an Oracle database backend. The ideal candidate will also act as a business analyst, providing support and guidance to users, and managing requests for enhancements and bug fixes. This role involves reviewing, prioritizing, and implementing requests for enhancements and bug fixes, along with ensuring the optimal performance and functionality of web applications.

Mandatory Skills:

ColdFusion web development with an Oracle back end.
IDEs such as Microsoft Visual Studio Code.
CFML - ColdFusion Markup Language.
One or More CFML development framework (eg, Fusebox, FW/1).
Oracle PL/SQL is highly desirable.
REST API development and integration.

Functional Areas:

IIS configurations and web server management.
Create and maintain virtual websites and ensure seamless ColdFusion integration (web connectors).

ColdFusion Administration:

Install, update, and configure ColdFusion Enterprise application servers (CF 2021).
Manage data sources, event gateways (CFML and Directory Watcher), and scheduled tasks.

ColdFusion Application Development:

Design, build, test, and debug ColdFusion applications using CFML.
Develop and maintain web applications with a focus on scalability and performance.
Leverage REST APIs and integrate them into ColdFusion applications.
Use ColdFusion development frameworks (eg, Fusebox, FW/1) to create modular applications.

Business Analysis and User Support:

Collaborate with business users to understand application requirements.
Provide guidance and support to end-users on application usage.
Review, prioritize, and implement requests for system enhancements and bug fixes.

Web Development:

Utilize web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery to build responsive front-end interfaces.
Work with integrated development environments (IDEs) like Microsoft Visual Studio Code for efficient coding and debugging.
Manage and maintain source code control tools.
