About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced ColdFusion Developer to join our team. As a ColdFusion Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining web applications that support our business goals. You will work closely with front-end and back-end teams to ensure our applications are user-friendly, secure, and efficient. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain web applications using ColdFusion (CFML) and related web technologies. 
• Collaborate with front-end developers and UX/UI designers to create responsive and interactive web applications. 
• Write well-organized, scalable, and reusable code, with a focus on performance optimization. 
• Troubleshoot and debug issues to ensure applications are running smoothly and securely. 
• Perform code reviews and maintain documentation for new and existing applications. 
• Integrate ColdFusion applications with databases (e.g., MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle). 
• Ensure compliance with best practices in coding standards, security, and performance. 
• Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, provide updates, and implement feedback. 
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability. 
• Monitor application performance and manage deployment processes. 

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience). 
• Proven experience as a ColdFusion Developer, with expertise in CFML. 
• Strong understanding of ColdFusion frameworks. 
• Strong skill in Java. 
• Proficiency with SQL and database management (e.g., MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle). 
• Experience with front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like Bootstrap or jQuery. 
• Familiarity with RESTful and SOAP APIs for application integration. 
• Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git, SVN). 
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to debug and resolve complex issues. 
• Good communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment. 

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies. 
• Understanding of DevOps tools and practices for CI/CD.
