Navyug Infosolutions - Senior Java Developer - ColdFusion/Hibernate (6-13 yrs)

In this role, you will leverage your expertise in Java and background in ColdFusion to design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable web applications stack. You'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, architects, and other developers, to deliver robust applications.

Key Responsibilities :

Full-Stack Development :

- Design, implement, and maintain Java and ColdFusion applications, ensuring high performance, responsiveness, and scalability.

- Integrate ColdFusion applications with Java backend services.

Software Development Lifecycle :

- Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and ongoing maintenance.

Code Quality & Standards :

- Conduct thorough code reviews for both Java and ColdFusion to ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.

- Champion code quality and knowledge sharing within the development team.

Technical Leadership :

- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.

- Collaborate with architects to design and implement solutions that align with the overall architecture.

Cross-Functional Collaboration :

- Work effectively with product managers, QA engineers, DevOps engineers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Problem-Solving & Innovation :

- Analyze and troubleshoot complex technical issues in both Java and ColdFusion applications.

- Propose and implement effective solutions, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Technology Expertise :

- Stay up-to-date on industry best practices, new technologies, and emerging trends in both Java and ColdFusion development.

- Contribute to the team's continuous learning and improvement initiatives.

Documentation :

- Create and maintain clear, concise technical documentation for code, APIs, and system architecture.

Qualifications :

Education : Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (preferred).

Experience : 5+ years of hands-on experience in Java development.

- Solid understanding of ColdFusion development principles and best practices.

Technical Skills :

- Proficiency in Java, Spring Framework, and related technologies (e.g., JPA, Hibernate).

- Experience with web services (RESTful APIs) and distributed systems.

- Experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, Oracle).

- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus.
