Job Description
- Deploy, configure, and manage Web Application Firewalls (WAF) , with expertise in Imperva .
- Monitor and analyze web traffic to identify and mitigate security threats such as DDoS attacks, SQL injections, XSS, and other vulnerabilities .
- Develop and implement security policies, rules, and configurations to enhance web application security.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate WAF solutions into the existing security infrastructure.
- Conduct regular security assessments, audits, and penetration testing to ensure optimal WAF performance.
- Stay updated with the latest security threats, vulnerabilities, and best practices.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for WAF-related issues.
- Document processes, security incidents, and resolution steps for future reference.
- Ensure compliance with industry security standards and organizational policies .
Required Skills Qualifications:
- 2 to 8 years of experience in Network Security with expertise in WAF (Web Application Firewall), specifically Imperva .
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, HTTP/HTTPS, TCP/IP, and DNS .
- Hands-on experience in WAF rule writing, security policy enforcement, and threat mitigation .
- Familiarity with security frameworks and compliance standards such as OWASP, PCI-DSS, ISO 27001, etc.
- Experience in incident response, threat analysis, and risk assessment .
- Proficiency in scripting and automation (Python, Bash, or PowerShell) is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to handle security incidents effectively.
- Good communication skills to collaborate with internal and external teams.
