The Role :
As a Product Manager for our PFM initiatives, you will play a critical role in defining and advancing our iFIX product specifications, creating solutions that support governments in managing public finances effectively. Your work will span the entire product lifecycle, from problem framing and vision setting to execution and growth.
Your Responsibilities :
Product Vision and Strategy :
- Define and communicate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for iFIX aligned with PFM Mission goals.
- Develop a compelling product narrative to inspire change within the public finance ecosystem.
- Conduct research to understand pain points and identify opportunities.
- Effectively share the product vision and strategy with stakeholders to secure buy-in.
Product Design and Development :
- Collaborate with designers, developers, domain experts, and external partners to build and adopt the product.
- Ensure alignment with timelines and budgets throughout the product lifecycle.
- Own and maintain documentation for stakeholders, supporting product development and adoption from the start.
Product Launch, Evangelism, and Evolution :
- Drive product growth and adoption, ensuring it meets user needs and delivers value.
- Develop and execute launch plans, including training, demos, and communications.
- Engage external stakeholders to promote the product's benefits.
- Track performance with key metrics, identify improvement areas and communicate progress to leadership.
Collaboration :
- Build a community of contributors and partners to support and enhance the product.
- Mentor junior team members, fostering learning and growth.
You're a great fit if you have :
- Passion for Social Impact : A commitment to using technology for social good.
- Product Management Experience : 6+ years in product management, with experience in user research, prioritization, and prototyping.
- Domain Understanding : Knowledge of Public Financial Management (PFM) or related fields, and understanding of revenue and expenditure cycles.
- Technical and Analytical Skills : Familiarity with financial management systems and data standards.
- Strong Communication and Collaboration : Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Agile Mindset : Experience in a fast-paced, agile environment with cross-functional teams.
- Experience in the government sector or social impact space.
- Experience in 0-to-1 product journeys.
- Background in creating SaaS products for the public sector.
