We are hiring on behalf of a leading non-profit organization that has been working towards providing quality education to children and youth across India for the last three decades. With operations in over 20 states and union territories, this organization has received multiple prestigious awards for its impactful work.

Position Overview

The Senior Associate Program Management will play a critical role in bridging state and program implementation teams, central teams, and donors. This is a dynamic and cross-functional role that requires strong project management skills, stakeholder coordination, and strategic thinking. The individual will contribute to the planning and execution of key education programs while ensuring smooth collaboration with donors, government bodies, and internal teams.

This role is based in Delhi and involves frequent travel to various project locations.

Key Responsibilities

Program Management Implementation

• Support program heads in annual planning and budgeting, ensuring alignment with donor commitments.
• Act as the liaison between state/program teams and central teams, facilitating smooth operations, documentation, and communication.
• Work closely with teams across departments (content, ME, finance, etc.) to ensure efficient implementation.
• Monitor program progress and financial management, ensuring expenditures align with planned budgets.
• Maintain a structured repository of key documents related to ongoing programs and interventions.

Stakeholder Donor Management

• Develop proposals for potential donors, including defining objectives, implementation strategies, timelines, and budgets.
• Serve as the primary touchpoint for donor communication, providing regular reports and updates on project progress.
• Organize and facilitate donor visits and external partnerships, ensuring engagement and transparency.

Desired Qualifications Experience

Required:

• 3-4 years of experience in program management, donor relations, or education policy in private sector firms, NGOs, or foundations.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with an ability to manage program tracking and reporting.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English, with proficiency in Hindi or other regional languages preferred.
• Ability to engage with stakeholders from diverse academic, socio-economic, and cultural backgrounds.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in dynamic, unstructured environments.
• Willingness to travel extensively to project sites, often in rural areas with limited amenities.

Preferred:

• Exposure to the non-profit sector through previous work experience or academic coursework in development studies, public policy, or management.
• Experience working in education, donor engagement, or government partnerships.
