Senior Curriculum Manager - Education (4-9 yrs)

Purpose of the Job:

The Senior Curriculum Managers along with their team of Curriculum Development Managers help us achieve this mission by designing world-class curricula, assessments and lesson plans that meet the needs of affordable schools in all parts of India. Create best-in-class learning products in India. Manage specific projects and deliver them within agreed-upon timelines. Highly competent professionals who are excited by the idea of democratizing quality teaching tools and techniques to students and teachers in APSs.

Must:

- Creating error free curriculum and content (for their subject) which will be consumed by teachers and students.

- Researching best practices and innovating new ways to enhance learning in partner schools.

- Visiting schools from time-to-time and engaging with field teams to understand on-ground requirements for delivering excellent education.

- Coaching and managing a team of Subject Matter Experts & Curriculum Development Managers, along with supporting them in their professional development.

- Reviewing and providing feedback on content created by Senior Curriculum Architects and Curriculum Development Managers, to ensure that it is high quality and error-free.

- Setting clear goals for the team and ensuring achievement as per quality standards.

- Creating clear curriculum development processes and guidelines for consistent and efficient delivery of product.

- Managing the project closely and ensuring their whole team delivers the product on time with quality.

Should:

- 5-6 years of experience in developing content and lesson plans in a particular subject, including experience in teaching using that content or working closely with teachers to ensure quality delivery of that content.

- 2-3 years of experience in coaching and managing a team.

- Experience in managing projects (goal-setting, monitoring, providing feedback, goal achievement).

- Graduate degree in Engineering preferred for content development in Math and Science, Bachelor of Arts

- (English) preferred for content development in English and Bachelor of Arts

- (Political Science) preferred for content development in Social Studies.

- Specialization in Early Childhood Development is a requirement for content development for pre-primary.

- Experience of working with teachers from schools with limited resources is preferred.
