Devops Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Infrastructure Automation: Implement and manage automation tools to streamline system infrastructure and ensure scalability, reliability, and security.
• CI/CD Pipelines: Design, build, and maintain continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines for smooth and efficient development and deployment cycles.
• Cloud Management: Manage and monitor cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), ensuring high availability, performance, and cost-efficiency.
• Configuration Management: Automate system configurations using tools like Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
• Version Control & Collaboration: Utilize Git and GitHub/Bitbucket to manage version control, merge requests, and deployments.
• Monitoring & Logging: Implement monitoring systems (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack) for infrastructure and application performance. Ensure proactive incident detection and resolution.
• Security: Collaborate with security teams to integrate security measures into DevOps practices, including vulnerability scanning and securing pipelines.
• Collaboration: Work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure smooth release processes and to enhance system performance.

Required Skills:

• Strong experience with:
• CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Travis CI, CircleCI)
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible)
• Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Proficiency in programming/scripting languages:
• Python, Bash, Ruby, Groovy
• Version control tools:
• Git, GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket
• Monitoring and logging tools:
• Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Nagios, Datadog
• Experience with databases:
• SQL, NoSQL, and database management (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis)
• Experience with configuration management tools:
• Ansible, Puppet, Chef, SaltStack
• Agile Methodologies: Experience in working with Agile teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 3-5 years of hands-on experience in a DevOps Engineer role.
• Experience in managing large-scale cloud environments and infrastructure.
